The Children’s Ministry is a great place for families to build foundations for faith.  Children will have lots of fun learning through experiences and activities that will guide them in learning about God.

Childcare is offered during all services and programs at Spring Valley.  All volunteers who serve in the children’s department have undergone a full background check and are qualified to care for your children. Our secure check-in system helps to ensure the safety of our precious children.

Birth- 2 Year Olds: A loving place where babies and toddlers interact over books, toys, music and activities. We have loving individuals that care for and watch over the babies.

3 Year Olds – 5K: Preschool children participate in age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, games, songs, and activities.  Children are given the foundation they need to love God more and more as they learn and grow.

1st– 5th Grade: Our classes are specifically designed for each age group. Our goal is to communicate God’s love to the children at their level of understanding. Children are provided a wonderful time of Bible study. They are taught understandable and powerful Bible lessons.  Learning activities are designed to reinforce and apply the lesson to their lives. This a fun and exciting place for kids to learn about God!

Wednesday Night Bible Studies

The Word of Life Gopher Buddies program teaches 4-5 year olds foundational truths of the Bible in a way they can understand. It is built on the basics of Bible study, quiet time, memory verses, and Christian service.

The Word of Life Olympians program, is designed for children in 1st – 5th grade.  Children learn to apply the Bible to their lives through a complete Bible survey curriculum.  Personal responsibility is developed through daily Bible study, Scripture memory and Christian Service.

Our Wednesday night children programs run from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.

Children’s Church

During the 9:00 AM worship service, children in 1st-5th Grade are dismissed to upstairs where they will be taught from God’s Word to help them on their spiritual journey. During the last Sunday of each month, families are welcomed to worship together for the entire service.

Children’s Choir

Choir meets on Sunday mornings between the 9:00 AM Worship Service and 10:30 AM Connect Group.
